if the board has an onboard nic you may not get it to see that though.
it may require you to install a external nic.(network card)

yes if that motherboard cd includes drivers for windows 98.
normally you install mother board chipset drivers,
video driver, sound drivers , lan , mostly in that order.
but you will have to see if the cd or web site has these,
if they don't exist then you will have to use what windows gives you native. never ever heard of delgroup.
once windows is running go to control panel /system/ device manager, all the yellow items are not loaded

The USB port on my Elitegroup K7S5A Motherboard does not work, even i've installed the right driver and the latest updates of Windows XP. Someone any idea why?

It may be the operating system has not recognized all the ports, if you operating system is now ok, go to my

computer>properties>hardware>device manager, and look to bottom of the list to USB Controllers.

Right click on them, and Uninstall all controllers and restart pc and see if all the ports are recognized and installed

Go back to the controllers after restart and ensure there are no'!' ? marks or no 'X' against any controllers.
Hope this helps,

No sounds

Please provide the make and model of all the hardware in question.

Also keep in mind many devices will not work after a fresh reload of Windows. This is do to the fact that vendors use there own drivers to tell Windows how to interact w/ there hardware. Keep this in mind when ever reloading an Operating System.

I would suggest looking for a Driver Installation CD/DVD that would have come w/ the motherboard or pc. Any add-on hardware should have software as well.

II have a K7S5A Pro motherboard. The sound has stopped. I strongly believe the driver for the sound was accidently deleted during a disk cleanup. I have downloaded/installed a driver which was recomended...

Wasent easy to find the drivers for your MoBo:)
There are two different sound drivers to that MoBo,

Now, follow the link above, go to site 2, there u see 2 different sound drivers, non of them is like that one you instaled but both are for your MoBo. I dont know witch one fits your MoBo so download them both and try them.

Thi link goes to the manufacrure of your MoBo, so hopfully one of the drivers will work.

Good luck to you

1. Swap power cord/replace. Check video connection cable,
Check monitor power cable. (Check wall outlet is good).
2. Reset cmos/bios. (Need to use manual for board to reset)
3. (No display on monitor, can hear fan's running & LED's on case light/flash). Remove & re-seat video card, same for memory. (While in PC check all power connections & data cables to devices.
