Hi, i have a PC with processor Intel dual core 3Ghz (assembled by Medion), 1GB RAM and a graphic card NVIDIA GeForce 6700 LX. The problem is that since several days this graphic card lost all the texture of the 3D objects in some games like World of Warcraft and Oblivion. So I open the machine to see if there was a problem with the hardware and I noticed that the air cooler of the Geforce 6700 LX didn't work properly. I remooved it only one time in order to see if nothing was burn there after what and with lot of attention I put it back in its PCIe slot and exactly in the way it was originaly mounted. The problem now that I closed the machine and start the PC nothing happen at all, I can only hear the power element and the HD working but the screen, the keyboard (wireless) and the mous remain dead. Shall I consider my PC as dead or is there something to do ?

Re: My PC is dead
Actuall the best thing to do is Get a new card and a power supply... Its not hard to fix the power supply... just connect the new power supply cables to where the old power supply cables were... If you just fit them to the same place it should be OK.................

Hi. After looking at the specs of your tower, the Celeron cpu you have runs at a slow 533 MHz FSB speed and is a single core processor. The good news is that your motherboard is designed to handle an intel Pentium D Dual Core CPU 900 series. Your motherboard uses a type Socket T plug (CPU Plug type). The processors name is The Pentium D 920. Have Fun.
Sorry to say, your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements for this game. Here are the requirements

1.0 GB (Windows XP)
1.5 GB (Windows Vista/Windows 7)
Hard Drive Space
6 GB of free space
256 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 3.0. Recomended: ATIRadeon X1800 XT 512MB or greater, NVIDIAGeForce 7800 GT 256MB or greater.
DirectX 9.0c compatible
512 Kbps or faster

as this pc is skt 775 and has dual core support then it is quite likely that the e5200 will work but may need a bios update to support this cpu...
just goto dells site and choose the pc u have and select drivers then download the lastest bios, transfer it to the dell pc run it as its a self extractor system will reboot perform the update then bobs ya uncle.......pop in new cpu and hey presto cheapo ugrado
#and as for the graphics card you will need to accertain which pcie version u have as most dell pc's only have pcie v1 so wont be able to handle the newer gpu's on the market.......
The 8800GT will work and the GT5464 is a core 2 Processor motherboard. But why put such a high grade video card into a motherboard that will only take two gig memory? If you are a gamer which most likely you are, by you wanting a 640mb video card. My I suggest looking into a motherboard that will take two video cards. I found one for a co-worker that came was a complete PC with two 512mb video card for $400.00. new. Less the hard drive and burner. Running dual video is where the gamers are going to. Plus you can up grade to Quad. You can't up the GT5464 to Quad.
