I recently had a water leak in the crawl space of my house. It is being dried out with several fans, and a dragon, blowing hot air under the hose. This will continue to go on for another week. Now I&#

Very likely.
Here's why.
Because of the real danger of overheating and fire, dryers are "loaded" with overheat switches which will shut thr dryer off if they get hot.
One reason is that lint catches fire so easily.
Here's hoping you problem will resolve soon!

The empty container/pc light comes on after approx 5 mins of drying cycle even when the container is empty

at the back of the dryer there should be a plastic tube from top to bottom ( this is the overflow pipe from the water container that needs to be emptied after each use, if the container is allowed to fill up, the water gts picked up by this pipe and collects at the base of the machine, stupid idea, i know) undo the clip at the bottom and empty the tube, also, with the tube still of, tilt the dryer and if loads of water comes out where u disconnected the tube you just need to get the water out. re connect the tube and bobs your uncle. hope this helps. p.s u may want to remove the top cover ( 2 screws ) and blow down the tube to make sure it aint blocked. when re fitting the tube, dont be scared of bending it to get it back into the slot where it tucks into the machine

Dryer runs but clothes never dry. Water is not collecting in plastic tub

Same problem. You need to empty the condensor. Take the bottom panel off the front of the unit. Place a LARGE towel under the dryer to catch all the water that is going to spill out. Move the 2 red tabs to the right & SLOWLY open the panel. Allow the excess water to drain into the towel, then fully open the panel. Have a bucket handy to catch the water as you remove the condensor. Slide the condensor out & drop the back end into the bucket to catch as much water as possible. Then take the condensor to the laundry tub & rinse it out thoroughly. Re-assemble. Next time you switch the dryer on, just check that you get a short burst of water from the drain hose. You will probably have to do this every 5-10 loads.

Dryer vent filled with water. Large loads would not dry.

If the drying problem is caused by poor venting/air circulation, then things probably won't improve until that situation is remedied. Check out the link I am attaching. It contains dryer venting requirements. Hope this helped and I'm sorry for your trouble. Best wishes.

Drying clothes properly, water going on floor not container.

The tube from the lower water collector that feeds the upper is detatched or split. Take off R/H side panel as you look at machine and at the bottom you will see a spring. Behind this is the lower water tank (very small) - it has two electrical connectors on it, There should be a black plastic tube attached to the top, this is the tube that feeds the upper condenser container.
