Problem for Agfa SnapScan E52 Flatbed Scanner

I have install the software from original cd. but i can not connect the scanner. when USB cable connect following message appear.drivers needed for the USB device "SNAPSCAN" are not available.
can you please let me know how can i fix the problm. I insall my G4 Mac. even I try my Mac Pro Book.

- My Agfa Snapscan e52 is never used before an when I now is trying to start it I can here no sign of life in it after having connected it an locked it up as shown in the instruction paper.- PeppeBest Solution
