Question about Carrier XHB123D X/Y Series Heat/Cool Air Conditioner
Fan/Blower turns on but can't get the thermometer to trigger the switch to start the heat. Pilot light might be out. Can I fix this on my own without blowing the house up?
There is no pilot light, its electronic start now.
like your stove should be.
you can trigger the furnace by shorting out the correct combo on the thermostat but not advised unless you know the right ones.
be sure the power is on the the transformer that provides power to the thermostat.
though that may be contained within the furnace now days.
just check your fuse box and call a tech.
