Re: forgot username n password

Normally you can reset the device to factory default and gain access back to the device.

Note:. But reset to factory default will loose all the configurations of the Device.

If you how to configure again then reset to factory default.

With Regard,

Re: forgot username n password

You will need to reset the unit by depressing the reset button with a pen on the back of the unit.

Forgot my password ehome router

The default Username is normally Admin or just blank (as in you put nothing in the box) and the Password is normally blank (as in you put nothing in the box), admin, or password. In my experance the manufacturer username: Admin and password: Password this is the most common combo i have seen. Now the password is case sensitive so keep in mind it may be password as oppose to Password. Also if the router came with software to edit the router open that and see if it will let you access and configure the router without the username and password. If all else fails and you know you have changed the username and password form the the manufacture default then you can hit the reset button on the back of the router to get it reset to defaults remember this is a last ditch option for you will reset all you setting not just the username and pw and so you will need to reconfigure the whole router. Which most router come with software to help you manage the router so setup should be easier with that software. And if you have lost the software disc or it did not come with one you can just go to the manufacture website and re-download it.

I forgot my paswordhow do i reset it

Username: Admin or Administrator
Password: <Blank>, try just pressing enter or try "admin" as the password as well.

If this does not work and you believe the router is using the default username and passwords try viewing the default settings at
Resetting your router

If the default username and password doesn't work it's likely you or someone whose setup your router has enabled a password that has been forgotten. Thankfully most routers will have a small pinhole button on the back or bottom of the router (like that shown in the picture to the right), pressing this button in and holding on this button for 10-15 seconds will hard reset the router. After this has been done setup the router again and enter a username and password that you can write down.

hope this helps

Forgot my username ang password on my friendster?

The only thing you can really do is re-register as a different user. Unless you are using clicked the "save password" button in your browser. If you did that, then you can use passcape ( to find the password.

Hope it guides you.

Default for most DLink products is admin - and the password is blank. Other options are admin / admin or admin / public

The WBR1310 has had login problems in the past where it "forgets" its id and password. Pressing the reset button to get it back to defaults will get you in but you can't keep blowing away your configuration. DLink has newer firmware to correct this but others have still had an issue with this unit.

Good Luck!

Install 2wire 1701hg without installation CD

1. pull up browser(ie internet explorer)
2. type or http://homeportal/setup in the address field. (click on i forgot my password if you forget it. then if you can't figure out the pw with the hint provided then go click on " i still forgot my password". you can then reset the system password)
3. setup your 2wire 1701 page, double check if key codes are there. it should be 522P-22P4-6262-22AT-F2NV
4. In time zone page, just choose the one then click next.
5. setup connection info page, just make sure the username is your primary email address with your ISP and also the correct password. fill out the username and password and confirm password fields ONLY then click next. And you're DONE!

you just have to wait till it successfully establish a connection.
if you're still having problem after doing that maybe twice or more then i suggest giving your ISP a call. they can also send you the 2wire cd if your ISP supports 2wire modem. AT&T does.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Forgot security key/passprease

the security passkey or passphrase will be found on the router user interface. if you are also using a linksys wireless can try this out..

1. open internet explorer...type on the address bar and hit enter.
2. it will ask you for a password, default username and password for a linksys router is username - nothing, password - admin.
3. go to the wireless settings tab and wireless security tab then look for the password.
