I'm trying to scan an A4 size sheet(document). I was getting the same size of the scanned sheet, but now its shrinked its size so that I can not getting the same size as in the sheet. Please help me...

Try the HP software rather than the Scanner itself.

HP Solution Center > Settings > Scan Settings > Scan Document Settings > make sure it is set to Scan Document as Image (no OCR) > Apply > OK.

I hope this helps.

How do I change the jpeg file to pdf when scanning?

Here is an Image to PDF Converter which converts JPG, GIF, TIF to PDF.

Image to PDF is a simple, lightning-fast desktop utility program that lets you convert photos, drawings, scans and faxes into Acrobat PDF documents.

I have an Agfa snapscan e20 and would like to use it from my Macbook. The scanner is an old thing. Is this possible and can you give me software to download? Thanks

First thing you should do is after you have connected the scanner to your computer, go to Finder, navigate to Applications and then double-click on the "Image Capture" icon. Press the "Scan" button on your scanner. The Image Capture application will recognize the connected scanner and will display a preview of the picture. Select any special options you want for the scanned picture and click "Scan" in the lower-right corner of the preview window. A scanned image of the picture will now be saved to the "Pictures" section of your user folder. I am advising you to try this as your MAC OS might recognize the scanner without the drivers.

If that doesn't work, try the drivers from Agfa website for SnapScan E20. Website doesn't specify for which MAC OS version they are. In addition, here's a link to th manual.

How do you enlarge scanned images on a HP G3110 scanner?

Find the file you scanned and click on it.Windows picture and fax viewer will open it,bottom right corner is a picture with a paintbrush across it.Open it,and it will open in Paint. If you don't have paint, use
a Free photo editor.Right click your scanned image and in the pop up is "edit with Gimp"? I use this all the time to pick a "Window" out of a photo and enlarge or shrink it.Works for me!

Reduce the width & height

Open the image in your picture program. click on the option to resize your image which is generally under the heading image depending upon which program you use.. change the dpi to 300 and the PIXELS width to 710. that will automaticaly give you a height. If the picture is "taller" than you want you will need to crop it to get it under 890. Be sure to keep the ratio the same while you are making the changes. there is usually a little box regarding ratio that should be checked. Good luck.

Open your visioneer software. Scan your image then select the image and display it by clicking the desktop icon at the top tool bar. Then once your image is displayed, go to the pulldown "file" and choose "save-as". Select the format of your choice from the bottom pulldown of the "save-as" window. Of course name you image before saving.
