The first common problem is convergence

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. If you cannot align those crosses, then the convergence section is damaged. should be repaired by a qualified technician, its a big job.

If the screen is bouncing...expanding/shrinking you need to get a repair kit from www.TvRepairKits.com

If your screen looks 3d in color, has a stationary bow, or if you can't adjust one or more colors from the "convergence" menu you need to buy a convergence repair kit. You can get one from the same site listed above.

make sure you hooked everything up properly and that all connections are tight

I believe its the vertical output IC. Diodes would tend to blow fuses . I would replace the vertical output and see if that takes care of the problem.

You have two bad convergence integrated circuits and possibly an open resistor or two in the supply.
