If you have the icon on Add and remove programs, you can use Revo uninstaller, just leave the default settings and choose all the files it suggest when it scan for leftover files .

YES I have
1. remove the folder where the program is in (normally you find the folder in the folder Programs)
2. Use after Ccleaner to remove the left over registry files, You can see my article here how to use it :

3. Use Glary Utilities to remove other registry files :

For both of the you shall use the registry cleaner, and for Glary Utilities just use the free version, I use it by my self :O). The Registry cleaners will not do any damage to your computer, they are totally safe
After this your computer should have removed the left over files.
If you can not install the program again and then removed, I will recommend this solution

Please be sure that you close the program and also the icon next to the clock and then use revo uninstaller to remove the program if you have installed again, then you should be able to see the icon in the installed programs, but be sure that it is "Avanquest Fix-It Utilities 8 Professional", you can get the trial vesion here :

Just install ti over the old one and then uninstall it, but be sure that it is closed also the icon next to the clock.
If you have no possibility to close the icon next to the clock, then you can use Autoruns to uncheck it from the log on/start entryes, you can get it here :

After you have disable the program form the start entryes in autoruns, you reboot the computer, and now the icon should not be more at the clock. Then use revo uninstaller to remove the program

there are no icon left in the ADD AND REMOVE PROGRAMS to delete! Any other ideas?
downloaded and ran both and it is still sitting down in my tool bar! Got a call from a friend and he said that if I download my new Windows 7 and did a complete install that Fix it would be gone but on my new laptop I have Windows 7 and its not to stable so I am not so sure I want to load it on my desktop. Any other suggestions?
