Question about Adesso (CYBERTABLET6400) Graphic Tablet

Two cursors on Vista

With an Adesso CyberTablet 6400, two cursors appear on the screen ... neither of which responds properly. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, changing USB ports ... everything I can think of to resolve the problem, but nothing works. Using the latest driver from the Adesso site. Have tried contacting Adesso twice with no response.

Same problem here, I try to use the tablet and the mouse jumps back and forth between to locations and is limited to a small area in the upper left corner of the sceen. I am using a laptop with a touch pad, but I've tried diabling the touch pad and it still does it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated.

I have the same problem. When I try to use the mouse it jumps back and forth between two locations and the movement I do get is limited to about a quarter of the screen in the upper left corner. I am using a laptop with a touchpad mouse, but I've tried disabling the touchpad with no change. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm able to connect the tablet without loading the program for it, and there won't be two cursors--just one, but it's not functional and acts like it's constantly being right-clicked. As soon as ATWTUSB loads, the two cursors appear. My new laptop runs on Vista. My old laptop ran on XP and the tablet worked fine. Hope a solution can be found soon.

Adesso 6400, installed on Vista, got a new battery for the pen and I get 2 pointers. tried various things and still same issue. anyone know of any better Vista compatible product?

I've tried contacting Adesso and I can't seem to get anyone to answer me whether it be online or via phone. Two pointers, both jumpy. I've tried installing and reinstalling drivers (both from website and the actual disk). The website sais that this tablet is Vista compatible, but I'm starting to wonder.

a few mnths later and the web`s only two solutions is one: buy the software(one says prize is aprx 100 us dollars the other aprx 300 usd) the other solution was to uncheck hidden files and... I tried it and didn`t get to see any hidden files and moved on...

Also i've found that before I log in (at the login screen) the tablet works just fine, but once I log in the jumpy two cursor things starts again. I'm assuming that vista is loading something that the tablet drivers are conflicting with. I've removed table PC from windows features, diabled my touch pad and the drivers and still no happiness. This is rather annoying, I hope someone has some ideas.

Pen pressure problem with illustrator

Is there anybody here who is familiar with the Adesso Cybertablet 8600?

First I'll say that despite Adesso being a cheap brand, my tablet has worked great for me for the past two years and I am happy with it. However, I cannot get the tablet's pressure sensitivity to work well in Illustrator CS2. When I go to the brush options, the pressure feature is off. Has anybody else experienced and/or conquered this problem?

Can I use any type of pen with this device or does it need to be the one that came with the origninal debice?

RTM. What does the manual say? Do you need a new pen, you can probably get one from Amazon.

Tablet pen's cursor skips around in 3 places?

The cursor skipping in three places is apparently caused by the connectors inside the tablet getting dirty or corroded.
Fortunately, you can easily fix this problem yourself! All you need to do is unscrew the back of your tablet, unplug the connectors and clean them with a q-tip dipped in alcohol.
There is a video on YouTube that shows you step-by-step how to do it(it's easy!).
It's called: Howto fix dead areas on any graphics tablet and it's posted by riodroid.

Hope this helps!

Two cursors when driver is installed on Windows Vista

it is a vista issue, you have to download a driver from another company for a different tablet, it is not an addesso driver, but it fixes the double mouse problem, the driver is from
Nisis / Aiptek V3.15 drivers google that and download the driver, it should fix it

I have had my cybertablet about 6 months. It works fine on my old computer but not on my new vista computer. I downloaded the new drivers from your website that say Vista on them but I still get a double cursor. I have found that many people on internet forums are having this same problem. Are you going to make a vista compatable driver for the 8600?

My adesso cybertablet 6400 tablet was working for a while then it stopped, but whenever i stop using it for awhile it'll start to work again, but after it'll freez again. I am getting annoyed by this since...

I would recommend turning the Power Saving features OFF in the Device Manager for your tablet. On your computer click on Start, Control Panel, System, then the Hardware tab, then Device Manager. Now find the CyberTablet 6400, right click and select Properties. Click on Power Management and be sure that "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is UNCHECKED. This way the computer will not shut it down when you haven't used it fo a while. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Adesso Cybertablet 6400 Graphics Tablet not working I have an Adesso Cybertablet 6400. I have had it for a while and am very careful with it and i never put anything on its surface (aside from pen pressure of course.) However, I have had a few problems here and there. I have had the tablet pen seemingly get stuck on right click mode without me ever touching the side buttons and it would get stuck on things such as the crop mode for Photoshop and whenever I clicked on any links it woudl right click on them. I eventually figured out that my pen nib needed replaced. So, I did exactly that. (also, a second nib replacement problem i had was when my pen thought I was pressing down whenever I was just scrolling over the area with my pen, but anyways) NOW, I have the problem of as soon as I plug my tablet in to my computer, I can take the pen and scroll around with it ("mouse" over the surface area of the tablet without touching down) but as soon as i click down on somethind it stops working. Not only does it not register that i clicked something, but the tablet will no longer "ouse" over anything nor will t register that i even have a pen going over it. I don't get any messages saying this or anythign but i just dont have response from my tablet. Some info regardig the problem: - green light on tablet is flashing like it is supposed to - when this problem occured, i was in the middle of using it, so it's not like it was bothered and i didn't know about it because it was working fine. - right before this problem, it was acting like my nib replacement problems i had. - i tried changing the nib, but that had no effect PLEASE. I am direly wanting to use my tablet and i CANNOT figure out how to fix it, or even if this is possible. Thanks for reading my long story of a question.
