Question about Sony Ericsson W850i Cellular Phone
Press the power button on the phone the phone lights up at the front and on the key pad but the phone wont switch on or do any thing else tried taking the battery and sim out leaving for a while didnt work.ed
My phone had the same problem. I sent it to be repaired. They said they'd done a "software reset", but it came back with the same problem. So, I selected the Reset option in the phones menu... and killed it. It had to restart, and when it did it just came up with "Please wait..." and sat on that screen over night. It is now a gonner. Apparently cannot be fixed. I think it is an internal hardware fault (flash memory??). May need a parts phone to repair. Very sad, as I love this phone, too. Extremely sad to read that it has happened to a lot of phones.

When the phone gets (network) unlocked too many time (you only get 5 goes) it freezes. you'll have to take it to a repair shop.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
