The phone is there but it doesn't let me explore. Anything else I can try?

  • Morsy1450 Feb 01, 2008

Sorry I have taken so long to respond. Thank you for your time.

There Is NO message. When I go to 'my computer' it is there as "Other" & listed LG mobile (in Australia it is a mobile phone not a cell phone).

When I right click on the device I get 'Open' or 'Explore'. It just shows exactly the same page with "LG" in top panel instead of "My Computer".

I was assured ALL locks were off this phone when I finished my contract.

Is there anything else I can do to retrieve this one photo?

    Again thanks in advance

Most phones are detected as Removable Storage devices or Mass Storage Devices. Try connectiong it to your computer using the data cable that comes with the phone or is sold seperately.

When it connect, Windows will recognize it. Go to My computer and look for a removable storage device or mass storage device.

Theres usually different folders on it. The one you need is propably called photo, picture or something similar.

I hope this helped you out

Greetings,

Is there any message that comes up when you try to explore? What does it say?

Perhaps you don't have enough rights on it.

    Greetings,

mharvz - you need to contact your mobile carrier helpdesk and have them assist you with your gprs and mms.

Morsy1450 - install the software cd that came with the phone then you can use the cable via pc to then transfer the photos.
