Marvin quartz heater

I have 2 marvins (both 2020 i think). Has dual elements. One of them is just as quite as a nun in church. The other...raises heck. Clack a clack a rachk a da rack. What's up with that one? Thanks. Ear Plug Girl.

how do you fix the tipover switch - unit cuts off and makes a buzzing noise if turned beyond the #2 position.

Quartz element comes on for a while (5 minutes, plus or minus) and seems to be working fine. Then, when the thermostat tries to shut the heater off, a terrible racket starts up and the heating element goes off. What's up with that?

Do they have a fan in them. If they do then the noise maybe coming from a bent fan blade. If you are mecahanically inclined then I would go into it and see. That would be the only moving part in the thing other than the tip over thing inside. I hope this helps

Marvin Quartz heater element

Very simple to install the replacement element. Insert one end of the element into the bottom receptacle on either side, press the element down (it's spring-loaded), then slide the top of the element into the center opening of the top receptacle, push to appropriate side (the side of receptacle, same as the bottom), then release. Then do the same with the other element (if both are out).
