Question about Samsung (SP0822N) 80 GB Hard Drive
I found the site searching for info on Hanaro 2.
A friends PC with the 80 Gig Samsung SP0822N has just shown this problem, they would like to save data on the drive.
I have removed the Samsung and loaded XP with another drive that was found by Bios straight away. I will reload / update the Gigabyte m/board Bios and see if I can detect the Samsung as a secondary drive.
This is real weird one. On boot up, it shows primary drive as "Bootcode -Hanaro 2 (rev 1), HA100 - 00. From then on, the drive is not detected, even went into Bios at start and did "Auto Detect". Put XP disc in, reports "no hard drive"?
Put in another computer as Secondary Master, same problem
Have put it in a USB External Case, same story.
ok you said that you have hanaro 2 and you want to sasve something to that drive.
this is what you got to do set your hard drive as slave. ok
