    how do i set up my motorola h700 with my lg rumor

  • Daphni35 Jan 27, 2009

    I just got an LG Rumor, it paired with my Motorola H500 bluetooth after several attempts at getting it to recognize it. Then after a day or 2, the Bluetooth stopped working. My phone said it was connected. I had to disconnect and search for it again and pair them. It took a long time to get it to recognize it again. I thought it was the bluetooth so I got a new one, the Motorola H700. My phone will not recognize it at all, it keeps saying "No Bluetooth Found". I know I am doing it right, I have looked at both manuals to make sure. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it the Rumor? What can I do?

With the H700 BT headsets the pairing mode is different from other BT headsets. to put it in pairing mode you first hold the talk button on the headset until the purple light comes on.Right after the purple light comes on you have to flip open the headset for it to stay in pairing mode. From there you continue through the phone. It will ask for a password; that will be "0000". then connect.

Make sure the battery is good in your H700.Make sure your Bluetooth is enabled on your i576. To do this, go to Contacts>More>Bluetooth>Setup>Power> then select On. Back up one level and select Link To Devices. If everything is correct, they will find each other.

I am trying to program my nokia 2600 phone to my motorla h700 blu

First of all, the Nokia 2600 is not a blue tooth phone.

If you should get a Nokia phone that supports blue tooth your best bet would be to make sure any previously paired devices are turned off.

Then make sure that blue tooth is enabled on your phone. For most Nokia models its as follows;

Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth > Bluetooth On

Then attempt to put your device in pairing mode.

Return to;
... > Bluetooth > Search Audio Enhancements

If your phone supports Bluetooth the phone should and device should pair after you enter the pairing pin, usually 0000.

Johnny_Nh, to answer your question, different Models are equipped with blue tooth when they are manufactured. Also, there are different versions of bluetooth, 1.0 and 2.0. If you have an older phone supporting Bluetooth 1.0 you will not be able to use a bluetooth 2.0 headset.

Need instructions to set up blue tooth in my phone

Yes, it would help if you gave the model number. However, if you do a google search for LG Rumor user manual, you should be able to find a download.

Motorola H700

Is your HP Blue Tooth compatible? Check the specs for your system and see. If it does not say it has Blue Tooth compatibility then you can buy a rather inexpensive Blue Tooth doggle that plugs into one of your USB ports.
