I have a Huskylock 905 serger and all of a sudden it won't create a loop. I'm 99% sure that I have it threaded correctly. Any thoughts on what might have gone wrong?
It turned out to be a very simple problem. When I put in a new needle, I did not get the needle seated all of the way. It was down just far enough that it was hitting the looper when the needle was lowered all of the way. Once I properly seated the needle, everything was fine. Needless to say, I felt pretty stupid, but luckily I discovered this before I paid to have it serviced! It turned out to be a very simple problem. Rethread. If still not working the loopers are out of adjustment.
You might want to take it to an authorized husqvarna viking dealer for service. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com Good luck.

Hello Christine,
Since I can not be there with you to guide you, here is video showing the threading Detailed How to Thread Viking Huskylock 905 Serger
However a few additional tips:
1. Make sure to use good quality thread.
2. Make sure to use fresh thread. Thread does have a shelf life.
3. Make sure that the tension, stitch length, and blade position are at the correctly set for the type of stitch required.
4. Make sure that the 'lower looper' thread is sitting "over" the 'upper looper' and "over" the 'upper looper thread'. This is VERY important.
5. Make sure that the threads are not caught-up/wound-up/stuck around anything.
This should solve that phantom challenge. Please let me know how the stitching works out, or come back with more information/questions
Please give me a thumbs up if this was helpful.
Happy serging

Quite possibly the machine is not threaded correctly, the tension setting for that looper is too tight (could be the upper looper tension disk is stuck or dirty causing the thread to hang), or the thread is looped around something like the thread tree.
Replace the needles. Remove all the thread and re-thread from the beginning. Be sure to RAISE the presser foot before threading. Make sure to thread the threads in the correct order.
try changing the needles make sure the serger is threaded correctly check for any burrs in the needle plate area, or on the loopers also make sure the tension is adjusted correctly for the fabric
Hi, On most of these newer machines they have a clutch that you engage to fill the bobins.
Please make sure that the clutch is disengaged for normal use. If this is all OK see that belt
is attached on motor.
You still are not treading it right...don't let it intimidate you, if you follow the manual and make sure that the thread is locked in the the top tension discs you should be fine.
Hey if you need a new manual go to this link www.ifixmachines.com and dont forget to put this code (150t) so you can get $1.50 discount. Hope this help.. By the way the manual cost only $10. BYE
My stitch is good, upper and lower correct, but it will sew along and skip stitches. What do I need to do?, am good at repairing things on it all these years, I havent used it a lot the last few years, but it has started this skipping problem.
