Re: car wont start

Actually it's probably the alternator. You can jumpstart a car with a dead battery and keep it running because once it's started the alternator generates the power to keep your car running and it recharges your battery. Then your accessories run off your battery.

I would go to autozone and have them do a free check on your alternator and battery but i'd put money on it that it's your alternator.

One question when you played your music in the car did you ever play it loudly? If you heard a whining in the background of your music when your engine was revving up then you had an alternator that was going bad.

What are the factory size speakers for a Mazda Familia Hatchback 1995 (3 door)

This vehicle is also marketed as the Mazda 323 and Protege. There is no listing for a 3 door Protege for 1995. For the 1995 sedan the speaker sizes are 6.5" for the front and 6x9 for the rear. There is no listing for a 1995 323 (which is a 2 door hatcback)but, the 1994 323 has 6.5" speakers for the front and rear.

I left the lights on all night and woke up to a dead battery. tried to jump but not getting ignition to turn over. car interior lights are on and clicks and makes sound like its trying to turn over but not...

to jump start a vehicle you need another vehicle with engine running and proper cables the thickness of your middle finger with double connections to either side of the clamp ,without this you are just wasting your time ,even more so with a power pack that only has a motor cycle battery inside it .You need a minimum of 150 amp to start a small vehicle ,a V6 american 4litre plus more like 300 amps

No sound from my 2005 Corolla speakers

The likely problem is that somehow one of the wires going to the speakers has "grounded out", meaning a wire for some reason is touching the car chassis, therefore shorting out the circuit the same way a lightning rod conducts the lighting into the ground, instead of your home.

A decent car stereo installer should be able to determine the problem. Either it's grounded out, which they can use a meter and connect the probes between ground and each of the 8 speaker wires to determine -or- the radio is faulty, and a new radio can be as cheap as $150, +fit kit, + wiring harness. Don't buy a factory radio replacement because it is a huge rip off and aftermarket ones are much better.
