Kenmore Elite side by side - ice maker stopped making ice

Well it will require a replacement unit. Cost to install about $250.00 labor and parts.

Is the food frozen solid in the freezer? Does the ice maker get any water to it? Do you see any ice buildup in the freezer?

there are 2 pipes going from the pump at the bottom of your unit ... 1 to the ice maker and the other to the filter for water.
make sure the pip for the ice make is tight in the connector of the valve ... let me know...

The buzzing noise is likely coming from the main power board and will need to be replaced.

Look behind the freezer rear trim panel for frosted/iced evap. coils and thaw if necessary.

It appears your ice maker on/off switch has failed in this instance.

Hi, look and make sure the inlet tube to the icemaker is inside the fill cup. Make sure there is no ice build up in the fill tube also.
