Question about Batesias V172RTNRA 17 in. LCD Television

Screen Shaking/Vibrating My monitor screen keeps shaking and vibrating. Like it's staticky or something. It's very irritating. It seems the more activity that's happening on the computer, the more it shakes. I've heard the term 'degaussing' thrown around; will that help? Either that or my monitor is just getting old?

I can't find the degaussing option. Any idea where it could be?

Mine us an LCD, and I did a little experimenting. I found out that it only does it on the 1280x1024 aspect ratio. Does that help at all? It's the default ratio for my monitor, too. I'm okay with switching it to watch movies and stuff, but it gets annoying with normal use. Any suggestions?

Yeah, Degaussing is basically resetting the magnetic field inside the monitor. go into the menu options, and search for that option. if this does not work, then your monitor is really old, and needs replacing.

it should be one of the options in the menu. Unless your monitor, is an LCD, then it doesn't have that option.

My lenovo y410 screen keeps shaking

Go to BIOS and check if the screen will shake in there if not try to uninstall and re-install the video driver that you have. If the screen is also shaking in BIOS it means there is something wrong with your video card.

MSI PM8M -V shaking/vibrating screen

Check the cable connection from the monitor to the computer for bent or damaged pins in the connector. Make sure it's connection is secure.
No problems found there?
try resetting your LCD or CRT monitor. Some CRT's can be degaussed, if yours can - try that.
LCD's, choose factor reset otion if available.
Still no luck?
Right click on the desktop and go to properties, then to settings, then to troubleshoot. Slide the hardware acceleration slider all the way to the left. Click OK.
If that doesnt solve your problem then you could have a bad video card or Monitor. If your video card is on your motherboard, try installing a PCI or AGP card ( if your system is AGP capable )
If you still have the shaking, you should start shopping for a monitor.

Hope this helps,

The camera keeps vibrating by itself

if its vibrating i would think its something mechanical. this isnt my forte but it sounds like when you turn your camera on the lens covering opens up and for some reason the gears that open it continues to rotate. if your comfortable about tearing things apart look in that area. better yet since its new let the warranty take care of it. this is not a solution just a hunch. let me know how it works out im curious.

Irritating display

This is a sure sign in CRT screens that it is on it's last hours of life. I saw this in one of my customer's screens and I told him it was probably dying, it died the next day. You could try opening the menu and hitting degausse or whatever it's called. That helps sometimes, but if this is doing this repeatedly, it means your screen is dying.
