1 Answer

I actually have a dsc-s650 It looks like a w50

When i turn on the camera it goes to "clock set" it is locked up and no buttons or anything will change it. Is there any total reset button on this thing or is it just junk?

Have you tried changing the small button battery inside the compartment where the main batt and sd card are as this will often cause this problem .

I can't upload pictures from my Sony DSC-S650.

Goto any radio shack and get a external memory card reader this will allow you to get your pictures if the camera or cable is defective.

Try turning the flash off. You can also prefocus and meter the exposure by pressing the shutter release button halfway. Hold it there until the right moment, then press it down the rest of the way.

I had the same problem with my DSC-W55. I actually just called the customer service number on the sony website and they told me how to solve the problem.

- Take your battery out
- Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds
- Re enter your battery
- Voila.. it should work when you turn it on. Mine did.
