Let the machine sit for about an hour and try again. Let me know what happens. Would like to know the reason the motor was replaced.

How do you dry clothes in this machine please

A fairly common problem! The official instructions are

Before using your dryer, wipe the dryer drum with a damp cloth to
remove dust from storing and shipping.
1. Load clothes loosely into the dryer and close the door. Do not
pack the dryer. Allow space for clothes to tumble freely.
2. Turn the Cycle Control knob to the recommended cycle for the type of load being dried. Use the Energy Preferred Automatic Setting (,) to dry most heavyweight and medium weight loads. See "Drying, Cycle, and Temperature Tips."
3. Select a temperature setting on models with a Temp/Fabric selector. The cycle descriptions include temperature setting suggestions.
4. Push the START button.

Stopping and Restarting
You can stop your dryer any time during a cycle.
To stop your dryer
Open the dryer door or turn the Cycle Control knob to OFE
NOTE: The Cycle Control knob should point to an Off area when
the dryer is not in use.
To restart your dryer
1. Close the door.
2. Select a new cycle and temperature (if desired).
3. Press START

Whirlpool dryer runs, hums, then quits

Sounds like the motor is on it's last legs. Replace it. But, before paying huge money for a motor and the labor to install it, I suggest that you price a new dryer and compare it to the repair costs. It may still be a little more for a new dryer, but....IT'S NEW!

Roper REX5634KQ0 runs for two minutes in any cycle and then stops

This problem sounds like a bad motor bearing causing the motor to overheat, when the motor overheats there is a thermal protector that opens and the motor will not run until it cools down.

Dryer Problem

EC4 The temperature of air vent
Within 30 minutes of dry cycle there is 5 minutes in which the temperature is not increasing.

You need to call for repairs. Probably the heating element is faulty.

You can create a custom program without a dry cycle and hang dry your clothing.

dryers take a lot of power to run.the circuit is tripping because it cannot take the load of the may have to get a dryer line installed.check the value on the circuit breaker.u need to use twice that value on the dryer.with clothes added to the dryer the motor takes more current to spin.this extra current is greater than the circuit breaker value so it trips to prevent the house wire from going on fire.

Jesse, does the door light come on? If not check the thermal fuse. You will have to open the top by pushing in on the two clips on each side. In back, on the right side of the heater you will see a thermostat and about 4 inches below the thermal fuse. Look at number 5 in the attachment. Makes sure to kill the power before going back there. You can either jump it out or ohm it out to make sure that is the problem. Part number for the fuse is LA1053.. back
