Hello,

When buttons are inactive, check the HOLD switch. The up and down button are the only buttons that function (as for volume up and down) when the player is locked.

The LOCK switch is located on the right side. Slide and hold the switch (8) down for power.

My m3904-a wont turn on i charged it ,on plug and computer, and nothing tryed the reset many times and nothing so what do i do

I had the same problem and I found a solution to make it work but do this ONLY as a last resort because this ERASES all of your files and you will have to download them again. Plug your mp3 into the computer. If your mp3 doesn't register on the computer then hold down the start button on the mp3 and hit the RESET button on the back of the mp3 with a toothpick. Once it registers on the computer, hit the start button on the computer, click on Computer, then go to the drive that is associated with your mp3. Right click on that drive. Click on Restore Device Defaults. I am not a pro but this worked for me. Good luck!

Wont Turn ON

(1) Hit the reset button for 5 seconds.
(2) Hit the reset button, slide down the on/off slide, and have it plugged into the computer at the same time. Hold for 5 seconds.
(3) Hit the reset button again.
(4) Charge it for at least 10 hours in the port in the BACK of your computer.
(5) After 10 hours, unplug the player and press the + volume button. While still holding it, plug the player back in. Keep holding it for 5-50 seconds. (most likely nothing will pop up).
(6) Let the player sit UNPLUGGED for a good 3 hours.
(7) Plug the player back in (it should light up now). Let it charge the usual time it takes to charge for an empty battery, about 6 hours.

My songs are shuffled

Since you cannot see what you are doing on the screen, I will tell you what buttons to push to un-shuffle your songs. Press the buttons in the exact order I tell you. Ok. Turn off the mp3 player, then turn it back on. Press the little menu button. Push the left arrow button once. Press the play button 3 times slowly. You are now in the menu that gives you the following options to unshuffle your music:
1. Off
2. Repeat single Track
3. Shuffle/No Repeat
4. Repeat all Tracks
5. Repeat all With Shuffle

I'm guessing that you may have to push the down arrow once or the up arrow once. This should select the Repeat all Tracks option. After scrolling up or down one time, press the play button once, then the menu button twice. Now push play to start your music. If this does not work, you can set your player back to the default settings by pushing the menu button once, pushing left arrow once, hit the play button. Scroll down 5 times, hit the play button, and push down 3 times. Be careful, because if you do not push the down arrow THREE times, you might accidentally select the option of erasing the memory.Once you push down 3 times and hit the play button, push down once more to select Yes of reseting your player back to it's original settings. This should help you out.

InVion MP3 player 2GB

possible solution for those who's invion mp3 keeps shutting off. I went on-line to invionusa.com and clicked on live chat. The person asked for my model and or shape mp3. the suggestion I received was to reset my MP3.

There should be a minute hole either on top by your on/off switch or near the charger plug in. Mine was near the plug in. Use a safety pin or paper clip and push and hold for 2 minutes then charge your mp3 for 3-4 hours.

I just started this today 9/17/08 will update on 9/18/08. hopefully this will help me and you :-)
