Sony ericsson 300i cell phone

I wanted to know why when I download a song from my computer to my cell phone, why can't I use the songs as ringtones?? Help!!

That is because your provider wants you to buy the ringtones from them. Your device need to be debranded. Find an independant cellphone shop and have them debrand your phone. Its jus a flash. Should cost you about $25. If you cant find anywhere to do it, look at our profile and im sure we can help you

Mp3 songs not selected the ringtones

This one is having a very simple solution. All you have to do is Go into your file manager and Go to your songs, Highlight the song you want to use, then click more. Now click on use as and then select Ringtone.

I cant put my music as a ringtone?

Hi... you can, you need to go to the song you want in mediascape... press the 1st button (the one with the 4 squares about it) which will bring up the option to set as a ringtone! :)

Could you tell me if there are any songs in your cell phone.If there are songs in it,you can set it.Find the songs you want to set as ringtones,then choose the option"transmit",and find the option"To the user profile".Just doing these,the setting is finished.

Can't get ringtones!

If the songs are in other format (having extension different such as WMV, mp3 etc) which is not supported by your mobile to be a ringtone than you can not do this.

Either you have to download the same file with extension which the other ringtone have, or use the one which already provided.

Transferring songs from PC to Mobile(Z550i)

Get a Sony USB cable for ur phone.
Attach ur phone to computer with the help of USB data cable and set it to File Transfer Mode.
Now u get a extra drive into ur My Computer.
Open it and paste MP3 songs in Audio folder

Using your songs as the ringtone totally depends on your mobile if there is an option you can but first thing you have to make sure that you mobile must support mp3,wma,acc etc as ringtone because the phone those dosen't support song as ringtone are mostly support midi,rff, etc ringtone
