Do you have both video and audio cables connected? Yellow or S-Video cables are only for video, you also need to connect the red and white RCA connectors on player and TV for stereo sound.
If you have already done this, check the player's menu to see if there is a setting for external or auxiliary audio.

Is M280 radio defective, causing battery to drain?

Just remove fuse to radio to see if this circuit is the problem. You can pull fuses one at a time and use voltmeter to see which are drawing current. Could be bad diodes in alternator which can be tested at parts store.

No sound coming from the "right" side of the headphone?? did I deactivate something??

Sounds like the connection for the right channel is interrupted somewhere- check at the point where the cable enters the actual headphones. sounds like you might need new headphones if yours don't have a removable cable.

M280 will not play, spins outrageously

I hate to be the one to tell you this but this player has had more then its share of problems! These units are almost all defective and stores have had an over 69% return rate!! because of the poor quility of these units! ( The player is not worth fixing and I would return it as soon as possible! even if you dont have the recipt the store should at least give you store credit!
Good Luck!

Sound issue

Check your settings in the menu of the dvd player you can do this with or without a dvd in it. If not a setting it maybe the speaker/s are blown try putting earphones in if you get sound from them it is probably the speakers.

Amphion M280 need tech info and phone numbers.

Hello gogo94804

I have bad news for you, Amphion Mediaworks is no longer in business. The closed their doors a few years ago. In addition there is very little to no service documentation on their products so finding a repair shop willing to repair these units will be a task in and of itself.

Your best bet is to buy a new unit, or attempt to find a shop willing to repair the unit. I have had 4 customers I had to turn away for lack of finding the proper documentation to begin repairs on their systems.

I even had one customer try to sue me because while I repaired his DVD player I had to use what I knew about DVD players, and he wanted copies of the service documentation, but refused to believe that there was no documentation.

So I do wish you well,

Thank you,

DVD disk

check to see what format your computer burns on.[ex:dvd-r, dvd-rw,dvd-+r,dvd-+rw]different dvd players play certain dvd formats.the format for burning on your computer is probably different from the dvd players that aren't playing the disc.you also must finalize the burned disc.
good luck
