- RIDICULOUS! who makes a product where the only way to use one of it's components is to have the remote??? (which everyone eventually loses) my remote grew legs and walked away during a move. I mean seriously- was a manual select or menu button REALLY overlooked when designing this thing?? I'm off to spend 33 bucks on a replacement that I pray works. - jstraubeSep 12, 2008

- that is how i did itfind old universal remote made by GE bought it from target it has audio button .find the code for aiwa receiver i did not remember the code but if you did not find just let me know i will look it up i have it some where.after you programed the remote go to button it says enter and push it then go to arrow for chaneel up or down,subwoofwer off come on the screen push ok it will change the subwoofer to on then exit.- Guest

when i went to turn it on it went into test mode ,now nothing ,how do i get it get out of test mode?

The receiver use to turn on but then turn off randomly, ant the little ECO led light would come on....
