When the temperature drops below 30 degrees F my garage door opener will not close the door. I tried adjusting the downforce but it still does not close. Craftsman 41A4315-7C
Put the down force adjustment back where it was as it affects the safety reversing. If the main light flashes 10 times when you try to close the door it is a door sensor problem. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not flickering. Tweak them a bit if necessary. It could be an electronic component that is sensitive to cold and quits when the temperature drops. This is not uncommon.

My Craftsman 1/2 HP garage door opener will go up fine with the push of any button, but it starts then stops when I try to push the button for it to go down. It acts like there is something in front of the sensor, but there's not. And, the sensors are lined up fine. Help!
