Thanks a bunch. Well, I did try the blank sheet. Still the same. I removed th fuser and found the large gear on the right side broken. Hence m problem! Can I replace the roller or do I have to order the complete fuser? If so where can I get parts or a new fuser other than Xerox.com? Thanks

If you are getting fuser acordian jams, it sounds like its the stirpper fingers on the fuser. They need to be replaced because the tips brittle and break off.
If the paper stalls in that area the fuser jam switch may be broken or the tip of that has brittled and broken off.
Also the plastic baffles after the paper leaves the fuser may be warped out of shape causing unlevel arrangment of copy exiting the fuser.
There are other problems that can cause paper jams including the exit fuser transport binding.
A service call may be needed on this machine because of the extensive involvment in troubleshooting and repairs.

This is the part you need:

but installing it can be tricky. It may be worth it to ask for Xerox to fix your fuser

New fusers for this model are expensive. Xerox parts guide does not itemize individual fuser parts, just the entire unit.

I have a used fuser if you are interested. candman44 @ yahoo.com

Is it getting thru the "pinch of the fuser and catching on the stripper fingers? If so clean the fingers, ensure they are not worn or tips broken.(Running sheets with dark lead edge can cause sheets to stick to rollers, try running blank sheets to clean up, if they get thru then try normal copies)
If the sheet stops before entering the rolls more likely to be dirty entry chute, drive problem or sensor problem....need more detail

Xerox does supply drive gears separately for some models, but not all, they want you to spend your money! Local dealer might be able to help, or if you catch them in a good mood might have a fuser that has failed in some other way.( See if you can catch the tech "on the side") I don't think anyone else can help you

I have paper jammed in Xerox 7700 rollers and cannot remove even though I release the green lever on right side. Do I need to release something else?

The green lever you are referring to are I'm assuming is on the fuser. If the paper is jammed in the fuser and you are unable to remove it try removing the fuser and trying to remove the paper again, there are two thumb screws that hold it in. Make sure the printer has been off for awhile because the fuser gets VERY hot. If paper is constantly jamming in the fuser or you are unable to remove the paper you should replace the fuser, part number 016-1887-00 iteminc.com offers them for $$235 new and $139 for a refurb. Hope this helps, good luck

Phaser 6250 DP keeps on jamming at Fuser.

Paper type set correctly? Does the paper enter the fuser? If not, the fuser drive has failed, replacing the fuser may correct it.

Xerox M15i has a paper jam 2 error, how to fix

Hi, open the right side as if you were removing a jam. You will see 4 silver phillips screws. Remove them, unplug the fuser and slide it out. I think you will find either a paper folded up in the fuser or in the paper path just past the fuser.
The fuser itself probably needs rebuilt or replaced.

Take care

XEROX PHASER 6180 SAYS PAPER JAM, I CLEARED PAPER JAM, PUT IN NEW CARTRIDGE, AND IT STILL SAYS PAPER JAM

Check the fuser for paper stuck in it.

Check that the 'paper out' sensor arm (in the fuser) is not broken. If it IS broken, you'll need a new fuser.

Paper Jam E2 error

On this model, the fuser assembley is mounted to the machine mounts, two of them inboard and outboard.
If the fuser gear is not cracked, this fuser is driven by the white small drive gear on the machine.
This rests close the drive gear. Sometimes you can hear a thumping noise which is coming from the gear skipping over the fuser gear.
This gear needs to be replaced a very involved service process.
Call Xerox for further repair if this is the case. Also behind this gear are many other gears that can cause this same problem. Very involved and time-extensive to repair even for a trained Xerox technition.

My workcentre Pro 416 shows a jam, i have removed all jams that i could see. However it shows clear jam, and has 19 to dos on the screen, like open door, clean jam, close door, etc.. Is there a major reset...

On this 416 machine, there is one place you cannot see a jam.
Looking at the machine the right side doors need to be opened.
The lower trays feed paper and need to go up the by pass feeder area.
Just lower and behind the by-pass feeder the paper can get stuck, and you cannot see it.
If you try to push a card stock up from the bottom, the paper can be pushed out.
The other area is at the fuser. If the switch is worn it will not drop back into position. The tip of the switch wears and breaks off.
It is rare a sensor goes out on this machine, besides the fuser sensor. Each paper feed head needs to be checked to see if the paper sensors are bad.
Not seeing the machine, call Xerox for service repair if not resolved.
