Oops i put d3000 and meant to put D5000. I dropped my camera and cannot view images on screen anymore. I can look at them via the computer, so camera still works just can't view.

Do you see anything at all on the screen? For example, if you press the MENU button, do you see the menu? If you press the playback button, do you see the pictures you've already taken?

I can't view my incoming text messages, every time I hit the select button it goes back to the previous display...

Unfortunately the only solution to this is full-reset, the problem is that all your data stored in the phone will be lost (Music, Games, Photos, Contacts stored in the phone etc). Also all the messages will be wiped to (and the very one causing the phone hanging too). You can find 'Reset to default' (or something like that) in the settings menu. The security code is 000000.
You can also try erasing the messages via the Mobile Phone Tools suite provided on the CD shipped with your phone, but I can't guarantee that this method would work. Although, since it doesn't affect all your phone's data like the previous one, you would definitely like to give it a try.

Brand new D3000 camera, but LCD Monitor stopped functioning -only get shooting info and other menu functions. Tried reset button but no good

Hello

For a Nikon D3000 all you will see in "camera" mode are shooting information and menu functions. The D3000 does not have a Live View feature where you can view the "live" image via the LCD, only through the viewfinder.

In review mode, you will be able to preview the images you have already taken, however.

Can't view my cameras

The DVR will be programmed with an IP Address via the DVR main menu function (network settings) and a valid password. The network viewing software (web viewer) you will need to ensure that the IP address is entered correctly for your DVR along with your valid user password.

Trust the above info is of assistance if you require a manual in order to check your settings try this link http://tv.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/samsung/samsung_dvr_product_list.html

The Monitor on my Nikon D80 does not show any image when I try to take a picture - The viewfinder is ok and the camera takes a picture ok and displays it for about 4 seconds on the monitor after taking it....

You can switch it off so as not to show the picture after you take one.

You cannot use the monitor to show images as you're taking them. The D80 does not have a Live View capability.
