Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Lost Video's My player twice in 3 months lost some of the video's I put on it. The mp3 are fine just the video's. I checked the video folder and discovered that there where folders in there with strange symbols on them like #$%& or squares that where never there before. I tried to delete them but to no success.I have the latest firmware and found if I format it it works fine again. I just want to know what or why this would happen? Thanks, Mike

Re: Lost Video's

I would say that the songs licenses probably expired...that could cause the problem you are having....

I lost my cd can i stiil put videos in my mp3? pls help

If your player has MSC mode it will be easy. Download this program "Any Video Converter" click the link. It is a free to use program. Convert your video to one that works on your player, most use MP4 video format, you may have to try different formats till you find the one that works. Save the converted video on the computer into a easy to find folder and just copy the finished video into your players video folder and you are good to go. If you do not MSC mode it gets a bet hard, you will have to use Windows Media Player or iTunes to sync to your player. But you can still use the Video converter program to convert them for use.

How do i put girl videos on my mp3

1. Connect your MP3 player to your computer using the supplied USB cable. The cable hooks into the bottom of the player.
2. Open Windows Media Player on your computer. If your MP3 player is connected properly, the media player will display The Name Of Your Player in its menu. This is where you place your video files.
3. Locate the video file you want to put on your MP3 player and select it by clicking on it with your computer's mouse.
4. Once the video is selected, "drag" the video across the media player to your mp3 players name display on the player.
5. When your player's name display lights up, release the mouse to "drop" the video into your MP3 player's video file.
6. Repeat the process to place additional videos.

Lost software for the Mp3 player model number YP-U3J ZB/XEU

How to get music onto your USB MP3 player without software. 28822404.jpg
One of the typical problems people run into with MP3 players is that they lose the software that came with the player and can't figure out how to get music on or off the player. So here's a quick how to. This will work with most brands of MP3 players, or even USB flash drives.

First you need to plug it in to the USB port, if you are running anything newer than windows 98 you won't need a driver. Double click on my computer and it shows up as a removable disc(usually drive letter f:), double click this drive to open it as folder. This folder will show you all directory's and files on your player, here you can delete any songs on your player by finding the file and deleteing it. From here you can also put your music onto the player by copying and pasting your music files from your hard drive. If you are not sure where your music is located you can run a search by clicking START>SEARCH>FOR FILES OR FOLDERS (if you are running XP click pictures music or video, check music then click search, each file will have it's location in small print below it's name, or you can right click each song and hit copy, then go back to f: drive and right click and hit paste, you can copy more than one). Hope this helps.

Lost video and space

Once looking at the player in explorer, go to tools - folder options - view hidden files and folders. Once you select that and hit okay, your vids should be on there (but a bit opaque). Just simply delete them.

Good luck
