Wiring for new off,on switch

I had to install a new off/on switch on myGuardian 4582generator and I do not think I wired the new switch right.

Could you tell me which wires go on which plugs or send me a wiring diagram?

Thanks for your help.

Re: wiring for new off,on switch

Check out the manual at the Generac site, at

If you notice, about page 20+, there are wiring schematics. You should be able to find what you need.

Right click will not work

Usually i dont right click on links to open them in new tab. I just hold "ctrl" and click on the link, that will automatically open the link in new tab.

From your problem it sounds like one of your extensions that you have installed in chrome is interfereing with the right click option.

Try to disable all the extensions/apps and restart the browser. Now check if the right click works. If it does, then it;s definately one of your extensions.

You could even try to install this extension :

It stops working very often how come??

Something is mis-configured. You are being rather terse with your information too, networking whether it be wireless or wired can stop for many reasons, same IP assigned to multi-devices, bad connections, mis-configurations, etc... You will have to provide more information I think before anyone can help you.

What do you do when webroot antivirus won't load or let you scan your computer?

Uninstall your Webroot antivirus.
Install the latest program.

If you purchase new antivirus, go with like Avira Antivirus
All I deal with is the occasional pop up when new definitions are installed. For what it can do, I think it's the best out there for it's price range.

Mouse is not working

Mouse is very sensitive, it has tiny wires even smaller than the keyboard, and is subject to wear and tear on both ends of the plug. Isolate it by installing it to another pc or laptop. If its not working still, buy new one.
Good luck

Does you norton program have a firewall included with the software? If so, your windows firewall was probably turned off automatically because having two firewalls running simultaniosly can cause a conflict between the two firewalls and therefore will not work correctly. If you have a firewall included with your norton software make sure it is turned on and leave your windows firewall off, other wise turn your windows firewall back on.

As far as your situation with the broadband modem, I have to ask: Is your Thomson hardware a broadband router (wireless/wired), or are you using an access point? (wireless/wired) If you are using a "router" there is no way to set it up to work with the modem the cable company provided you. However, if the Thomson modem hardware is an "access point" the only thing I can suggest is to follow these steps:

1) Pull the power cord out of the back of the modem that the cable company provided to you.

2) Next, plug in your Thomson router in to the ethernet port of the computer.

3) You are then going to configure that device. Start by going to the "network and Internet" section in your control panel. There should be a section in there where you can click that says "setup a new network connection" There should be an option to set up and "access point" and it will search for your hardware. If your hardware is found you will probablybe promped to input information about your router and once that's done it should set up successfully. If it isn't successful by some chance don't give up just yet! Go to step 4-

4) Shut down your computer.

5) next, switch the ethernet cable going from your Thomson hardware to the modem from the cable company.
6) You will then need a second ethernet cable to go from a second port of the Thompson hardware in to the ethernet port on your computer.

7) next, plug the power cord back in to the modem from the cable company and your Thompson hardware and start up your computer.

You should be able to get a wired internet connection if all goes well. If you have a wireless access point go ahead and set up a separate internet connection only this time choose "wireless" and choose your settings. I hope this helps. Feel free to contact me anytime if you have more questions. Happy Holidays!

I have an HP with Vista home installed. And I have a router that connects me to a wireless network at 4 bars. However, when I try to connect via IE or Safari, I get an old wired address at Quest. How to I...

Go into your network connections and remove the connection to Qwest. It was apparently set up when you had that service.
If all else fails, just disable the wired connection.
