Wiring for new off,on switch

I had to install a new off/on switch on myGuardian 4582generator and I do not think I wired the new switch right.

Could you tell me which wires go on which plugs or send me a wiring diagram?

Thanks for your help.

Check out the manual at the Generac site, at http://www.generac.com/PublicPDFs/0G1086.pdf

If you notice, about page 20+, there are wiring schematics. You should be able to find what you need.

Wrong window switch installed.

I don't think even a wiring diagram will show the terminal locations. You may have to sort it out from a wiring diagram for the windows for your car. Each window will have it's own color code for up and down. What a nightmare! You could be at it for awhile till you get it right. The lengths and hi-jinks some people will do on their cars! I would find a like car at a junkyard, snip the connector off with just enough wire to show the color (or longer if you just wanna splice it into your wiring), bring it home and match your wiring from it. Probably only a factory service manual would actually show the terminal locations. Good luck, Odel, and you didn't even say what kind of car you had, though it made no difference to me.

I want to install a new switch in my Superior scms 10 L miter saw but I need a wiring diagram to put it all back together again.(2 blue,2brown & one grey wire. When I took it apart I did not mark the...

Denis use a meter on the switch. Measure resistance / continuity. Find the 4 contacts that are made when the switch is actuated. There are 2 terminals for blue and 2 terminals for brown. The terminals are paired so that each of the 2 terminals is made when the trigger is actuated. Blue to blue... brown to brown and grey will be the last terminal. It will not matter which side of the switch you connect the wires to as long as you pair up the colors. My concern at this point is the gery wire. If it is piggy backed to another terminal and you disconnected it this can be a problem. I believe the grey wire is for actuation of the brake. If this does not help you feel free to seek other experts. I do not think your going to be able to locate a wiring diagram without the aid of the products service center.

I only answered to try and help you due to the fact I know getting the wiring diagram will be a difficult task.

How to properly install plenum limit switch

If this is the old style limit/fan switch. Turn power off
remove the wires and label where they got disconnected from and wire the new one in. Make note of the settings on the old limit switch so you can
adjust the new one. The limit switches come in
different lengths so get the right one.

If it is a flat bimetal disc, then I think you have only to
wires that have to be connected so hook up same
to wires from the old one. With Bimetal disc fan
limits you need to make sure you get the same
temperature reading as the old one

I am replacing an old dimmer switch with a new one. The old Leviton has 4 wires. One red, two blacks with one listed as 3 way wire which is not being used, & one green. The red is connected to white,...

ON one side of your switch it is connected with a small peice of metal or should be. That is why it only explains 3 wire instead of 4. If you look you can find the one you need with 4 spots to put your wires. Just look or ask your store for what you need. They can be very helpful in helping you find what your looking for. Hope this helps.

I am taking the old motor out of my Rainbow SE

Switch is not serviceable.
I think you are talking about old model switch (originally installed in your Rainbow) To remove 6 wires from the switch - push a pin where the wires go into the switch. It will release wires so you can pull them out. Make sure to draw a diagram how to connect them back.

If you need a new switch - go here
