Shadows on Rear Projection TV

I Have a toshiba 43vj22p rear projection TV about 4 years old. It has worked fine until today when the centre of the screen around 50% of the screen from top to bottom has colloured shadows on it. I have tried to adjust the convergence which works on the left and right of the screen but is ineffective when I try and adjust the central area. Is this repairable? I live on the sheffield/chesterfield border so if anyone can help or repair I would be very appreciative

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

The convergence IC's are definitely bad. This is not something you can fix yourself unless you know how to solder and are technically inclined.

Your problem most likely is on the signal board is my guess. If your not a technician it would be in your best interest to have him check L2C60 on the signal board.
