Laptop has some sort of adware

I bought this laptop second hand and ran fine for awhile, then it started running slower and slower and picked up adware or something similar. Now we cannot connect long enough to run anything to clean it up or run some sort of disc to get rid of the spyware, its really a halfway decent machine and all, what can we try to at least try to connect to the internet long enough to get rid of the problem? My wife and i are lost, any help would be appreciated...thank you.

There's various amount of anti-spyware tools available. I'm going to link you some:

- Virus Scanners (Free)
AVG AntiVirus 7.5 Free Edition [download]

Anti Spyware solutions:
- Spyware Blaster [download]
- Spybot: Search & Destroy [download]
- Ad-Aware 2007 [download]
- CCleaner [download]

You can install some of these. Some of them are scanners some only create a preventive blocklist. Tell me what they find and don't hesitate to ask me how to use them. I'll be glad to help.

Good luck, keep me posted!

Greetings,

DarkNeogen.

I forgot to mention what my collegue expert says: the scanner work best in safe-mode.

    1. Push the power button of the notebook.
    2. When it begins booting, press F8
    3. A list of options appears, choose "Safe Mode with Networking"
4, Login, instal/run the scanners above.

RE LK 3504 (35 hp 4 wheel drive Tractor starts, runs 5=10 minutes under load, then slowly fades away running slower and slower until it stops. Restarts in 15 min, same result

Here is an idea.
It sort of sounds like there is a blockage after a while in the gas tank.
If there were sediment in the bottom of the gas tank, it would start and run fine sitting still.
However, when driving it, it would be a matter of a few minutes until the sloshing of the fuel would cause the sediment to mix in with the fuel, and clog the filter screen in the fuel tank.
When it stops, the sediment would settle back down, and in 15 - 20 minutes, it would be clear again.
God bless your efforts.

Starts but wont run and shuts down in seconds

Read entire posting before doing anything else first.
I discovered what the problem was, after changing spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter (At this point the mower would not start at all):
1. Checking for spark. I got spark out of both plug wires. The modules were OK.
2. Checking for fuel flow. Only small amount of fuel coming out of fuel pump. I changed the fuel pump. (I bought a Briggs and Stratton for $22.50 instead of a Kohler for $60.00. Same fuel filter!)
It ran fine for 10 min. then quit again!
I loosened the gas cap and it has ran fine since then, by keeping the gas cap loose. I will replace the gas cap.
Note: It was difficult to find the problem, since I replaced the filter and removed the vapor lock, so it ran for awhile. I then checked the fuel pump and removed the vapor lock, so it ran for awhile. I would suggest that people with similar problems, loosen the gas cap to see if that works first!

New watch is losing 5 to 15 minutes a day

This could be that the battery is slow. Newer swiss watches have a indicator in the movement of the watch that makes the sweep second hand skip every few seconds to indicate that the battery is slow. On regular japan made watches the watch just simply starts slowing down. Your watch could be new but the battery in it could have a long shelf life.
