ERR (990) or ERR (999) are both error messages which are displayed
when a sensor does not work normally due to dirtiness. For example,
either may be caused by a dirty maintenance unit or clogged ink nozzles.
It may be possible to resolve the issue by cleaning the device

Your printer would require service from a Ricoh repair centre or agent, as this normally occurs when the ink purge unit encounters a problem, and the end result is damage to the main controller board, that to my knowlege is not repairable and requires the board to be replaced.
Hope this helps.
