Try to check under printer properties. Just go to Printers and Faxes > Right click on the Lexmark icon > Properties > Configuration tab > Check under Configuration options.

What your printer is telling you is that it thinks or knows that the top exit tray for the paper is full. This is the tray that is moulded into the top of the printer.
This caused by two things. It is actually full or the Bin Full Actuator is out of position and forcing the error condition.
Look at the standard bin. Over to the top at the top left corner there should be finger (almost the same as paper clip) hanging down. If it is not there, then it is more then likely that the finger is jammed up.
i believe that password would be stored on your pc in the software application uninstall it and reinstall the software. i know all of the menus and hidden menus in these lexmark printers and have never seen "password setting" in any of them.
