Question about Samsung S850 Digital Camera
I would appreciate your assistance in uploading my current pictures to my computer. I have been able to do this in the past--as recently as just before Christmas. But somehow I am having trouble now. In the past it just seemed to work automatically, so I do not know what the problem might be now.
I have connected the same black cord (which I left in the 4-Port hub which is attached and ON) into the slot on the side of the camera. Then I open Picassa on my computer (also tried my Kodak Gallery site).
The computer does not seem to recognize that anything was in that port, so I (clicked "safely remove hardware" and moved the Samsung cord to a port which was being recognized.
Now the computer did not recognize that anything was in second port (which it DID recognize earllier when my flash drive was in it).
I shut down everything for the evening and tried anew this morning.
I had the same problem. The computer did not recognize that the Samsung cord was in the port.
It IS tightly pushed into both the camera and the hub.
Then I (safely removed the Samsung cord and ) moved the cord into my Epson printer. The printer was recognized, but I was asked only if I wanted to scan something. It somehow is not recognizing the cord or the camera which is attached to the cord.
I haved gotten a new camera on march 21 , eveything works good .Except , when i upload my pictures in tht cmoputer it does go in at all . i haved been having problem with it . When i pluged in the cord it says it doesnt recognized only the printer !! When i plued the cord it do real tight but it still doesnt upload or do anything !
i will really appreciate if you willl help me solve this problem
lke i really need your help!!

I assume you have xp windows, anytime you plug something to a usb port it should ding and then promp you what to do.
if not try clicking "my computer" or explorer and find the last drive and open it like g or h .. you should see a folder and click on it .. now copy and past or drag and move to your pics folder.
