hope it helps
DON'T WORRY,IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE INSTALL DISC,YOU SIMPLY GO ONLINE TO GET THIS, AND HOW DO YOU DO THAT I WILL EXPLAIN.
JUST GO THROUGH GOOGLE SEARCH BY TYPING WWW.GOOGLE.COM IN YOUR URL, THEN TYPE IN THE NAME AND MODEL OF YOUR SCANNER VISIONEER 4800 FLATBED AND YOU WILL SEE THE DRIVER. DOWNLOAD IT.I HOPE THIS WORKS
You can contact the manufacture of the device to get a new cd or if you do a google search for the device using the name and model number you should be able to get the drivers that you need to download and install it ok?
best regards mike
You can't, at least not from Visioneer. The manufacturer has classed this "end of life" and only has drivers for W2K/Me/98.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Vista. (For what it's worth, a lot of hardware and software didn't move from W98 to XP either.) You might try a Google search to see if anybody has found a way to make it work. Or you can buy a new scanner; they're cheap enough today. (IMHO, it's just sad that Microsoft can have this much control over a market.)
