Did you check the Ethernet link status?

Try changing the cable type between Ethernet Cross-over and straight cable

Reset my dlink dir 615 router and now internet light stays flashing orange

Do you have the Internet connected to the Internet port in the back of the DLINK? You will have to configure the DLINK for internet access. Open a web browser to your DLINK and check on the configuration under internet-setup. Select the type of internet connection you have i.e. DHCP, PPPoE, Static, etc. Once that is set up, you should have access to the internet like before.

Won't work, have no instructions, what do i need to do?

Model number? Most routers are fairly easy, and so are D-Link. Let's just hope this model is. Start by turning it on. Then push and hold the reset button in the back till it cycles. This just clears any previous custom settings. Now you have fresh router. Just like new.
Connect the ISP modem to the main network port. Now connect the computer to any other port. That's it. All done.
Save this information! DLink Wireless Router is accessible via web browser at User: Admin Password: [none / blank]
This a non functional test example of the admin page. Use it to play around in.

Globe symbol won't turn green.

I was banging my head for 2 days with about 35 different configurations and finally tried the following and it worked just fine. Also, tried connecting 3 computers and they all connected with "NO" issues. Even connected wireless with "NO" issues. Now I am at 20mb download speed...J compared to AT&T 1.5mb download speed.

This is my DLINK model -> (DIR-601 Wireless N 150 Home Router Wireless router)

1. Reset your Comcast Surfboard Cable Modem by unplugging it for 5 minutes.

2. Then reset your DLINK Router to the manufactures default settings. Then Unplug DLINK Router for 1 minute then plug it back in (Just plug your cat5 cable into port 1 and connect it to your computer) there should not be anything else plugged into the DLINK Router at the time you make the changes. Just 1 computer can be connected.

3. Went into the DLINK configuration and changed the PPPOE setting that I was using for my AT&T Modem to Dynamic IP (DHCP). Once you make the changes save them and then unplug your DLINK Router it's off.

4. Turn on Comcast Surfboard Cable Modem and wait until all lights are on. Now plug in a cat5 cable from the Surfboard Comcast modem (NOT A CROSSOVER CABLE LIKE THE CD INDICATES) to the INTERNET port of your DLINK Router. Now turn on your DLINK router.

5. Then turn on your computers or restart them and it will pick up IP Addresses from your DLINK Router

I changed the address for my router and now nothing works

I don't know what "they" told you to change?
But if you changed the router's IP Address and you don't know what it is, then there is only one
solution to get you back to ground zero.

With the router power ON, press and Hold about 10 seconds the RESET button close to the power input jack. You did not state which model router you have, but after the router is rebooted you need to hook up using a direct cable connection with the your browser using the following:
Type on address bar enter. the Dlink router webpage should appear and asking for
Username and password.... Username is "Admin" Password is "dlink" these are the defaults.
From there you take over assign a new password, choose your encryption and password etc.

Best of luck

Wireless dlink

You may need to access the router's setup page and configure it's Internet connection type to SBC's required settings. Usually it's PPPoE.
