No signal.does it means in all modes...tuner, A/V and all other sources. If it does, you may have a faulty main pcb board. Call a technician.

good luck.

Everything working fine, then home screen no longer displays on TV. On startup, pink dots go across TV screen, then TV goes black. Signal from most recent input is not coming trhough the audio or TV.

I have the same problem. I have an LG lcd tv as well. I have my cable box connected to via hdmi into the reciever then from reciever to the tv via another hdmi cable. I can watch tv and like the problem above see the pink dots on boot-up but I can't get the home screen to display.

Lost video signal to monitor (TV)

I had the same problem - Onkyo had me reset the unit by holding down VCR and pushing the power button. Make sure you record your settings before doing this - as the unit will be fully reset. This solved the video problem for me.

I have a dish network 522 reciever that I can watch two different things on two different tvs. It keeps saying acquiring satellite signal, but only on one tv. The other is working fine. If i unplug...

So you have two sat receivers? is that correct? If this is so, can you please explain in more detail, if either TV can get either channel, or is it one channel one TV? If you are using two receivers, then I suspect, either the connections need re-doing, the in-line amp, if any may be going/is faulty, the LNA, has slightly misaligned. usually it is signal quality that stops things... check all connections and power supplies and the like.

Receiver taking a long time to transmit reciever

I assume that the HDMI works fine if you go directly from the dish receiver to the TV with either HDMI cable. And try it with a different source (DVD or x-box) in the same input port.

Take it to a Radio Shack there service centers can repair Onkyo in warranty. Most Onkyo receivers carry a two year warranty.

No signal from coax input on 32" lcd

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Due to two things that will cause the No Signal message to come up are – no data available for closed captioning and a weak signal input. Your TV is in the Closed Captioning Mode. To turn off simply bring up the on screen menu and scroll down to the part that says closed captioning and turn this function off! With the closed captioning block displayed and the program being viewed is not sending out closed captioning signals the TV will display, No Signal!

If this doesn’t resolve your issue then the problem may be with the processor failing and it is causing a random read of the EPROM to display the No Signal message.

I’ll suggest you to run the HDMI from the PVR (personal video recorder) directly to the TV (mute the TV), and then run the optical audio from the PVR directly into the receiver's optical in. The closed captioning is something that is addressed in analog broadcasts, but not necessarily digital broadcasts.

Try using Component cables if this doesn’t make a difference. After using components cables your issue will be resolved.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee
