i have a disk(20 gb bara.) It stops working while i restarted windows(by reset button because windows(98) got hang).Afterwords when i tried to start pc it gives "disk boot failure or no disk".i restarted again and i found that it even not appear in setup. how can i solve this problem?

Start up using a bootdisk (DOS) and run the command: fdisk. Choose entry 4 (View parition table). Tell me the results.

well try and run your pc in ms-dos mode (by using bootable windows cd).FIRST OF ALL disconnect ur hard disk and connect it again check the hard disk connectors that they fit properly in and are tight ,type fdisk and check the partiton !!!and make sure that hard disk of urs is in working condition so check it in other system or pc also!!
