Hi,

Pls verify that the tuners color standard is identical to that of the video camera. Depending on where you are, there are a number of color system but dominant are PAL (for most European) and NTSC (for US). So you have to select which ever is being used by the video cam.

Hope this be of help.idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need further information.

good luck and kind regards.

My svid2usb22 cable doesnt recognise anything i connect to it...Am i doing something wrong

1- Install the software that it came with the USB Video Capture
this usb capture does not need special drivers because is just receiving video and audio and is not converting any format.
2- you must have a software to record the image and video that it comes from the USB Video Capture and have to be open at the time you start transmitting.
you can use roxio video capture or more pro like adobe premiere you may find free online capture software for this device but for sure this device should have his own software. I hope this answer work for you if not please add more details to posted question.

Thanks Good luck!

What are the red yellow and white cords for i have a xbox

The side with 3 RCA jacks, red, white, and yellow, is for connecting the USB to a composite video cable. The black connects to an S-video cable; you would still use the red and white plugs to carry the audio. At least the older XBox's had composite video outputs; you just need the composite video cable (which you may have as they came with many video devices (VCRs, DVD players, video cameras).)

If you need to connect this Video capture device to another type of output, you will need a converter. Component to composite video would be one option. However, you will have signal loss with any converter.

I hope this helps.

VHS to Easy capture to computer

The plugs you speak of are called RCA plugs, (Male side has an outside ring with "slots" around the edge, and a pin in the center. Female side has a short round "riser" with a hole in it). You need just standard Audio/Video hookup cables, available at any electronics store.. Walmart/Target/Kmart has them in the TV section. They get plugged into the Audio (Red & White) OUT of the VCR, into the Audio IN (Red & White) of the Easy Capture. The Yellow lead is for Video In/Out between the VCR and Easy Capture. The black is probably the S-Video connector, (round, has very small square hole, surronded by 4, 5, or 7 tiny pin holes) that can be also used to connect video/audio between VCR(if so equipped) and Easy Capture. Get a set of audio/video dubbing cables (abt $10 usually), connect Red to Red, White to White, Yellow to Yellow. Plug the Easy Capture USB cable into your computer (most likely), start the capture program. Start your vcr, hit Play. You should see your vcr tape playing on the computer screen.

Black And White

Yes, there is a way to change this to color. If you are in the US, make sure you have it set to NTSC or PAL if you are located in Europe.

Phillips DLP 50 inch has no color great black and white picture

There is no color chip. What it does have is called a motor driven color wheel. The problem is that the color wheel is no longer spinning to produce color. Replace the color wheel and you should be fine.

Teac USB2 TV TUNER Video Capture

Hi Betty, First of all, this tuner requires that your laptop support USB 2.0, if your laptop is fairly new (made within the last 2 years) you should have no problem. Make sure you install the software first, and then plug in the USB cable from the tuner to your laptop. Your laptop should see it, and install it automatically. Then plug the s-video cable from your VCR to your TV tuner. Also connect the audio cables (white and red cables) from the VCR to the tuner. That's it. Please let us know how this works for you, and if you need any additional troubleshooting. Best regards, nightdiver
