I had the same problem after some electrical work was carried out.....just re-register the handsets to the base station as per the users manual ...just takes a few seconds
Menu>advanced set>registration>pin>0000 (default)>menu......Done!

I have a CD130 Cordless TRIO. I often get "Searching" sign which somehow I am able to fix but now the display says" Unregistered". Obviously, I need to Register but I don't know how? Also it asks for a PIN Code! I donot have this as well!

We recently purchased the CD130 Trio (CD1303S/79)
I have let the phone sit in the charger for the 24hrs as it says in the directions, its is now fully charged.
"as soon as we put the phone in the base it has done nothing but flash the word "SEARCHING" after another day I thought I had better try and sit down and work this out.
Looking at the User Manual
On the first page (Welcome Mode) it says to go to page 32 to set the Country.
- Press (menu) and press the large centre button down until you reach "ADVANCE SET"
- Press (menu) and press down to reach "COUNTRY SEL"
