How can I restore the deleted files from Voicetracer 7675?

Ok! Be relaxed! Nowadays, the deleted files on a camera memory card are not actually destroyed immediately after the deletion process. They are still there and become invisible. So, act carefully to get these deleted files back:
1. Stop using this voice tracer right now in case that any new file on it may overwrite your deleted files.
2. Insert this voice tracer to your computer.
3. Download a data recovery freeware to retrieve all your lost files back.
This professional data recovery freeware has helped many people around me restore their inaccessible data off from a phone/camera memory card or hard drive. It could be a good choice for you to go on.
Try to read more detailed information of this data recovery freeware here:

4. Do not save or back up all the restored data on the same voice tracer in case of any data loss.

It is stating that the memory is full when it is not.. I go to each folder and nothing is there

I had my Pockettrax CX saying "Memory Full" although I'd deleted everything. What helped finally: I formatted the SD. Now I've got all the memory back. Don't know if that would help the recording speed. but maybe. IMPORTANT: SAVE ANY FILES on your LAPTOP before formatting the SD.Here's how to format the SD:Go to Menu.Click on "Common Menu"Scroll down until you get to "Format"Press "Yes""Formatting SD" comes up and, VoilaYou've got more space.

I just deleted (remotely from my mac) all the files in Folder A of my Olympus DS -40, b/c I'd gotten a memory full message. Even though it shows no files in Folder A, it still says memory full.

I found the answer on this site: I held down the menu button--got to the sub menu and restored it to the original default setting. It cleared everything and now I can record tons again. Note for future--don't delete on your mac--only delete the files on your dvr to save you the trouble of having to do this.

Problems with memory on Olympus DS-2

I've had the same issue. The surefire solution is to go into the Sub Menu and FORMAT. It wipes the entire internal memory clean -- so be sure you've offloaded everything you need. You'll also need to reset the recording quality, if you have a custom setting, because it defaults to the highest quality. But you'll have all your space back.
I believe when files are deleted via computer, the DS-2 doesn't update itself to recognize the space is freed up. That's why data is gone but memory is not freed.  Good luck.
