Re: BJC 1000 troubles
There might be a problem with Printer Spooling Service. If you are using Windows do the following:
1. Go to start. 2. Choose "Run" and type: services.msc. 3. Press the Enter/Return key on your keyboard. 4. A screen will pop up. Locate the "Print Spooler" service. 5. Doubleclick it, if it has stopped: click Start. If it is already running, click, Stop, and then Start. 6. Try printing again.

try uninstalling any software relating to the printer.
shutdown the computer. Remove any printer to computer cables. Re-boot ( startup ) the computer.
let it set itself up. then shutdown.
turn off the power to computer, put your printer cable back in, as if you were installing it for the first time.
the computer should have found new hardware ( your printer ) And ask for a driver. ensure your HP disk is in the drive, and ask to search Drive D:- Or E:- wherever your CD is located.
If it,s already got the latest drivers installed, i would,nt worry unless your printers not functioning correctly.

first i need you to check and see if your printer is online
click on your start button then click control panel then were it says hardware and sound below it click printers then right click on your printer make sure its not the fax one make sure it says use printer offline if it does then its fine if it says use printer online then click it
ok if that is good then click propeties then click the advance tab up top make sure these areas are checked
priority set to one
spool print documents etc etc
start printing immediately
print spooled documents first
enable advance printing features
ok now click the security tab and click on everyone
make sure the print allow box is checked
let me know if this fixes it if not we''ll go further into it
Did you remove the printer software from within control panel. Add/Remove programs? Power off the printer while doing this. Restart the pc when done. After windows finishes starting, power on the printer. Windows should see the new device & ask for the software. Without knowing the model No of the printer & your operating system there is little else I can do for you.
I hope this helps fix your trouble.
