Yes, factory re-imaging of the computer will work. But it's overkill.

Her computer is most likely infected with a virus that tells windows to shutdown.

Before reformatting the computer, have her boot into safe mode. Do this by hitting F8 while the computer is booting, and the safe mode menu will pop up, where she can pick "Safe Mode" as the method of booting.

When windows comes up, she should run a virus scan on her computer and try and get rid of the problem. She does have some kind of anti-virus utility installed right? If not, get AVG Free Edition from http://free.grisoft.com/doc/downloads?prd=aff

My hp pc wont turn on whats wrong with it? Do i need to get a new pc or can it be fixed? There is an error code when i run the boot menu " biohd-5"

Pressing F11 (see User Guide) when booting may lead you to recovery options, but I would backup data first... http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=4007138

The hard drive, motherboard, or some other critical component may be failing, or just the OS or hard drive corrupted. If you have files that you do not want to lose, you could try this... Pull the hard drive out, and use a "USB Hard Drive Adapter" (available fairly cheap online) to connect the hard drive to a friend's computer, and save all the personal files (documents, pictures, etc.) you can to a folder on the friend's computer or an external hard drive. That way, at least you may not lose your files.
Then, you could try to do a Factory Restore or Reload on the computer, and if that works, copy your personal files back to your newly restored computer. Good luck.

How to restore to factory

Windows 2000 is no longer supported. You need to be sure you have a recent backup of your files (documents, pictures, etc.), and plan on migrating to a newer machine. If your machine won't boot, and you have files that you do not want to lose, you could try this... Pull the hard drive out, and use a "USB Hard Drive Adapter" (available fairly cheap online) to connect the hard drive to a friend's computer, and save all the personal files (documents, pictures, etc.) you can to a folder on the friend's computer or an external hard drive.
Then, you could try to do a Factory Restore on the computer, and if that works, copy your personal files back to your newly restored computer, or my recommendation would be to copy your backed up data to a newer machine.

How can i reset Encore enRTR-104 router to default factory settings? When i push the reset button after few seconds begin the light nr. 4 faster to blink. When i release the button - the reset is done in...

I found these instructions for resetting the router to the defualt settings:
Use the "Backup Settings" tool to save the Broadband Router's current configuration to a file named "config.bin" on your PC. You can then use the "Restore Settings" tool to restore the saved configuration of the Broadband Router that you set before. Alternately, you can use the "Restore to Factory Defaults" tool to force the Broadband Router to perform reset and restore the original factory settings.
􀁺 Restore Factory Default
To restore the factory default settings of the Broadband Router, click on the "Restore" button.
􀁺 Backup Settings
Press the "Backup Settings" button to save the current setting in a filed "config.bin" or given filename.
􀁺 Restore Settings
To restore the backup file to the Broadband Router, enter the path and filename on the restore settings.
