What language are you trying to run the script in? If it's PHP or PERL, do you have the appropriate interpreter package installed?

If the remote sever is on a fixed IP address no tunnelling is needed: you can set up SQL host permissions (using, e.g., phpmysql) to allow that IP address access. If it's on the same local LAN, that's all you have to do. If not, you'd need to open a matching hole in the MySQL server's firewall for port 3306 (maybe 3360 - please check!). The hole must be just for that one fixed IP address. Note that some hosting services will not allow you to open the port your self - you'll have to ask them - and some won't allow it at all, so you're back to tunnelling :{

Just crossed my mind - you said "My SQL" not "MySQL". Are you using Unix/Linux hosting and MySQL in fact?

Dear Rajiv

First make sure that your Apache server is running properly.
For this type http://localhost and see the result.

If you want to test PHP you can create a php test file by yourself.

Goto the www folder in apache director. create a file , name it anything.php. Edit the file and simply write "phpinfo()" without quotes . check the output.

It means that your apache server is fully capable of PHP scripting.

Cheers, Parveen

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

How to open and change Santo SC-S260 filter bag ?

to modify a web server and web server pages you need to log in into the system *** an user that have enoght privilages to modifi the software packages and the web directory where all those web sites reside...

in Linux like OS that is the "root" user you can access to that user account by the "sudo" command or the "su" command..

in Windows the user will be the "administrator"

now that you have access to the system as an superuser you can go and modify a web page using a text editor i recommend "scite" for linux and the "notepad" for windows.

if the web site that you want to modify is on web server Apache you have to go
to the web directory root in linux like os this directory is "/var/www/"

in Windows that directory will be C:/Program -files/folder of web server application folder

i hope this helps

How to download and install apache on linux5

Hi Follow the below procedures.
How to install and start the Apache or httpd service under Linux

by Milind

Q. How do I install and start the Apache or httpd web server under Fedora core or Cent OS?

A. Apache HTTP Server is a free software/open source web server for Unix-like systems and other oses.

Apache features configurable error messages, DBMS-based authentication databases, and content negotiation. It is also supported by several graphical user interfaces (GUIs) which permit easier, more intuitive configuration of the server.

Use rpm command to install Apache under Linux. You can also use up2date or yum command to install the same.
Task: Install Apache/httpd under Fedroa Core/Cent OS Linux

Type the following command if you are using Fedora or Cent OS Linux:

# yum install httpd
Now, start the Apache/httpd
# chkconfig httpd on
# /etc/init.d/httpd start
Task: Install Apache/httpd under Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Type the following command
# up2date httpd
Start the Apache/httpd
# chkconfig httpd on
# /etc/init.d/httpd start
Task: Debian Linux httpd/Apache installation

Use apt-get command:
# apt-get install apache2
# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
Task: Verify that port 80 is open

# netstat -tulpn | grep :80

You can also install httpd from CDROM with rpm command:
# rpm -ivh httpd*
Configuration

Your server is started but you need to configure and use Apache as per your requirement. /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf (RHEL/Cent OS/Fedora Core Linux) or /etc/apache2/httpd.conf (Debian / Ubuntu Linux) configuration file. Use text editor such as vi to edit file. This file is very well documented or read official Apache configuration documentation for more information.

How to recover apache?

This page may help you out. http://www.easyphp.org/introduction.php

For my server, I use http://www.php.net/downloads.php. It works well without any problems.

In your Apache httpd.conf file add this script at the very end:
</IfModule>
#
#load the php main library to avoid dll mistakes
Loadfile "C:\Program Files\php5ts.dll"
#load the sapi so that apache can use php
LoadModule php5_module "C:\Program Files\php5apache2_2.dll"
#set the php.ini location so that you don't have to waste time guessing where it is
PHPIniDir "C:\Program Files\"
#Hook the php file extensions, notice that Addtype is NOT USED, since it isn't needed
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .php
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

Home web server - Win 2000 advance server edition

I am uncertain if you already have a server on your machine, however you will want to download one (a server). The best around is obviously Apache. Once downloaded, install it to C:\Apache (Not the default C:\Program Files\Apache Foundation folder). Afterward set up your Internet Modem to forward port 80 on TCP and UDP to your computer's IP address (Not necessary if you're not behind NAT or a firewall)

Once you've done that you have a running web-server. Any document's you place in Apache's, "htdocs" folder will be accessible from the web.

Now to get you a DNS. Try out DynDNS. They have free services (which I myself use) and some services which cost money. Most likely you're after a domain name, so you're going to end up paying for your DNS services. However once you have an account you will want to forward any traffic dialing the DNS to your computer's IP Address.

After the DNS is setup any traffic visiting your DNS will be forwarded to your computer's IP address where Apache will direct them to the files located in its, "htdocs" folder.

Let me know if you need me to clarify any one of the previous points, I will gladly do so.

Good luck.

Apache Linux Problem

It means that apache want to use SysV IPC. (semaphore get function)

IPC:
Inter process communication
These software objects (semaphores, shared memory and signals) enables the processes to exchange information.
Apache processes wants to exchange information via semaphores but could not,

You current Linux kernel dont have SystemV IPC support.
You should build a new Linux kernel with a SystemV IPC support.
You will have to rebuild the kernel with that support enabled (it's under the "General Setup" submenu)

I hope you can compile a new Linux kernel, if not this can help:
