Water leaking out of bottom unit, not out of flow tube. Was working fine, then moved unit. someone said tube has come loose, but from where?? It is in at the back.
Some models have a hose, some don't , maybe the drain hole it's restricted, condensor normally it's in the back of the unit, you might have to remove one of the side panels.
Our floor was totally soaked.we have a free standing air conditioner. it was fine then it started leaking from the bottom. i took it apart there were hoses through the whole system. is ther a small pump that pushes the water to the container? HELP
Similar to jk4717, I put down a thick mat to protect the underlying carpet and today we were trying to trace the distinct smell of mould in the bedroom. Upon further investigation when we removed the mat the carpet underneath had totally moulded. Now we are trying to figure out how to stop the water leaking from the unit at the bottom. Are there any suggestions ?
Also, the Unit itself has never been much good, .... does anyone know the period of time that you need to change over the coolant and how you do that ??

Hi, if there is no drain hose for the condensation to drain, you will find around the front of the unit and sides, should have small oval holes around the perimeter of the unit. The condensation will come from inside at the evaporator coil where your foam filter should be also. Condensation runs down the front of the coil as the is where the refrigerant is metered at this coil. Condenser is the back coil. Hose is normally located at a front corner, even on residential and commercial a/c units. By the photo that is displayed, I would say it is a clear type drain hose. Check at front corners. Good Luck,
