You need to use the Sansa Media Converter to convert the files before transferring them - consult your manual for details. Go to Sandisk's website if you have the lost the software or the manual.
Put the e260 into MSC mode so it looks like a USB hard disk. Then you can drag/drop videos onto the e260. More about it here http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=e200&thread.id=10357
So you should not need a special driver to do this. If you want to watch Windows DRM-protected files then you will have to reload the driver and get Windows Media Player up to date :-(
connect to your pc using usb connection. sansa should be recognized as storage media drive. navigate to the drive. Drag and drop files to music/video folder. Enable show hidden files and folders in your windows folder settings. Tools>Folder Options>View. Some of the folders are hidden. You can delete the preloaded music also. Some of them are in the radio folder.

what you need to do is make sure that the file is correctly in the folder like drag the file from the media player and have the folder already open then drag the file to the folder that is already open and when you have it on your PC make sure you change the file to what ever type of PC or programming (like media player or real player etc.) then you should use .mp3,wma(if you have windows media player), or mpeg-4/mp4. this should work. if not then post a problem up again and i'll find an answer for you
