How to set the mms settings?

Yes sir,to retrieve MMS data,you should activate you MMS/GPRS by configuring the settings of your network provider or Smart provider.

Here's how to Activate the your MMS/GPRS

Key in SET MMS and send to 211.

To download SMART GPRS phone settings:

Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.

Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that's "SET MMS N6230"

To activate SMART GPRS:

Key in "GPRS ON" and send to "333′

To activate SMART MMS:

Key in "MMS ON" and send to "333′

Note :
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select "Save All" to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.

Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated.

Go to Settings>More>Connection>Network Profiles and create a new profile. Enter these settings:
Name: T-Mobile WAP
Bearer: GPRS
Authentication: PAP
User Name: [blank]
Password: [blank]
APN: epc.tmobile.com
2) Go to Messages>Message Settings>Multimedia Message>Message Center, click on options and choose New. Enter these settings:
Name: T-Mobile MMS
MMSC URL: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMSC Proxy: 216.155.174.050
MMSC Port: 8080
Connection Mode: TCP without Proxy
Network Profile: T-Mobile WAP

select get settings your service provider they will send you the configuration set up, save it to your phone then you will be able to send mms

You need MMS and GPRS setting to send picture messages.

To make your MMS and GPRS working you should first need the settings for it.You cannot set it.Your network provider should give the default gateway address for it.Then only you can use it.
If you already have set the MMS and GPRS setting and now if it is not working because the network service provider would have changed the gateway Ip address.You have to again set the new one.

Please call your network service provider and ask him to send the MMS and GPRS settings for your mobile.He/she will ask for the mobile model and send you the appropriate MMS and GPRS setting.You will get the settings as an SMS.go to iIbox and save the setting...

Now you can work with it.Your phone has no issues with MMS and GPRS .Only network service provider has to give the correct settings.

FOR SMS SENDING CHECK TEXT MESSAGE CENTRE NUMBER IN MESSAGE SETTING OPTION

FOR MMS CHECK YOUR GPRS SETTING WHETHER IT IS ENABLED IN MMS SENDING OPTION

you need to configure the mms settings from your internet menu... but you need the right configuration from your network provider to the settings.. 
to give you an idea, here's how you may do it.. from your phone, press menu select internet select browser profiles to lead you to internet profile settings.. from your settings, press create.  then create the mms profile your network preferred.  once created, press save and exit the settings for internet profiles.. 
to make the mms profiles be the default settings for your mms, do thes steps... from your phone, press menu select settings select phone applications select messages select multimedia from multimedia menu, select profiles assign the mms profiles you created for your multimedia. press save and exit the setup... 
now to check if it's working, try sending a multimedia message to your own number to check if your phone can send and receive mms. once you successfully send it and received it, it means that your phone mms is already set and working...

Yes, if don't have any mms settings or mms profile set, you can't send/recieve MMS.

To get the settings contact your service provider.
They will send you a push message or will manually dictate you the settings.
