Hey, If you look on the PSP where the battery connects, you will see 3 prongs that make contact with the battery. Sometimes these prongs need to be bent a little so they make better contact with the battery. Be very careful when you do this, because if the prongs snap off then your psp is done, because they are connected to the motherboard.

Also did you try another battery to make sure it is a battery, ask a friend who has one to try it.

What happens if you put the tiniest bit of a drop of water on the points that connects the battery with the device.

This way you can see rather the power circuit that connects your battery with your PSP is broke or your Battery has passed away.

Maybe the battery unit is defective. For some reason the battery might not connect to it's internal contact. Probably broke because of the countless fallings. You can try a different battery or ask PlayStation Tech support for help.

But if you mention the fallings, I guess they'll say it's your own fault. Be careful with such devices.

P.S. Mine has never dropped in 2,5 years ;)

Yes! take it back to the place of purchase, this is a manufacture issue. By the description it is a motherboard problem and should still be under warranty.

My psp wont turn on

Make sure it is fully charged and that the battery is not sticking out in the slightest. If you have lost the battery cover, you're going to need to jerry-rig it into place with some duct tape.

May have a faulty motion sensor, try reprogramming the alarm. also a week battery will turn the alarm on when the charge drops and goes back up, take it to an Auto Zone or Kragin type auto parts store for a free charging system check. Your clutch problem may be due to after market parts (just not the same) but I would check that the fly wheel is not turned past the specs, may have to replace with next clutch job. also remember to keep your foot off the peddle when driving, the slightest pressure will drag the clutch.

What are the procedures to download a game from my psp through internet?

In simple terms its this; you will download your games from the internet into you PC and then transfer your game files to your PSP via a USB cable. When your computer is connected to your PSP, your PC will recognize your PSP as a detachable memory (similar to a USB drive). It will assign a drive (usually f: ) and you will be able to drag and drop you PSP games file to your memory stick. These are some of the step to download PSP games.

Step 1

You must copy your PSP games file to the correct path or the games simply would not work. The correct path is PSP>GAME (all the folder names are in caps)

Step 2

After the PSP games are fully transferred to your memory stick, disconnect the PSP from your PC. In your PSP main menu, scroll to GAME and then select Memory Stick option. Press X, and list of available games in your memory stick will be displayed. If you find any error on your PSP, you might want to check your firmware version.
This is a simple guide on how to download PSP games from your computer and it is a proven techniques and been done countless of times. Most important of all it allows you to enjoy wide variety of games from other gaming console.

I know that the PSP is pretty rugged but Dropping it that many times in that sort of time you could have very likly damaged the circuit board. Since by replacing the battery did not correct the problem I would open the PSP and make sure that there everything looks like it is in good order. Make sure all wires are connected especially around where the battery plugs in at.

Psp will not load in any games

"tap" not hit.. the back of the psp, (where the game goes in on the back) and see if that works.. that will usually get the laser to read the disk.. perhaps the umd is dirty..  only tap on it "lightly" when you hear it loading.. i know that sounds stupid, but it worked for me countless of times.
