The TV won't turn on. It is plugged in, but won't turn on at all. Is it fused?

It has a fuse and if the power light comes on and blinks a specific code that would be a error code.

This set weighs close to two hundred pounds, follow the power cord inside the set as it goes almost directly to the fuse which should be a 6.3 amp fuse----careful if its bad, it is a slow blow and special, a Radio Shack or Generic one the same amperage and type will blow for no reason, if its bad don't keep feeding it fuses.

DOES PANASONIC PLASMA T.V, HAVE CIRCUIT BREAKERS

There is a relay that latches a few seconds after each switch ON. It is normal, that the sound of the relay come out from the TV. If there is any fault either to main power regulator board, or with other boards which get feed from this power board has any shorted component/s, this relay won't latch up.
Your TV has some fault with its power supply regulator section. Just visit the site 'Electro-help'. Try this link and select the site. There are details about Plasma tV faults. Pull up older posts there.
Anyway, if power supply board is found faulty, it will be best to replace this board, as card basis, rather than making "surgery" to it; especially to Plasma TVs/

Good morning, I have the Hyundai hp4200 which will not turn on, when you switch on it clicks then 2 minutes later clicks again to onto I guess standbye. However, if you turn it on and off by the socket...

Yep, I can help but I am afraid that I won't be able to bring totally good news.

The TV is in forced standby also called "protection". Protection kicks in when an internal fault such as a short (big power draw) or a wrong voltage is detected. The click comes from a relay activated by the protection circuit to force TV to shut down.

All you can do is disconnecting the power cord, checking if there is a fuse built in the power cord, replacing fuse and connecting back after about 30 minutes (that allows power drain). If the TV does not work there are faulty internal parts that need replacement.

If now the TV does not start at all, and not even the standby light is on, then the problem is usually the PSU. The part must be tested and eventually replaced.

Tvs get reception from an antena. New LG tv won't acknowledge a dtv channel (kxtv sacramento) when scanned or manually added. Two other digital tvs utilizing the same antena scanned and added the...

The tuner on the LG TV may be right on "the hairy edge" of being able to receive that signal. Therefore the processor won't acknowledge and display it. You may want to try the LG on one of the other antenna feeds were the TVs DO display that channel. You might want to try the LG with no other sets hooked up. You may have a problem with any of the following. - staple through a wire - cracked lead-in wire or damaged coax - problem with a distribution amp/splitter.
